June Haul! ♡

Well well well...

Welcome to my first Haul!

Over the past month, June. I have made quite a collection of exciting goodies to add to my mess of a room.

First things first... CLOTHES!

I've brought a few things for my new IKEA wardrobe. 

This dress was ... $20 I believe from Target! I know Target?! They have the MOST affordable items that are still gorgeous! :)

A shirt. $20 from a little place in Chatswood. Really CUTE! Comfortable and I wore it out last night :) 

Another Target item. This one was only $12! Really comfortable and flattering with a body con skirt and tons of jewellery. LOVING bright colours!

Second on the agenda... Makeup!

One of the best creations this country has made is... Priceline pharmacy.

They have everything you need, for make up and hair especially. I am REALLY pleased with everything I've purchased from there and I think you'll find me there most days off :)

All these products are and have been amazing for me. The foundation is the first liquid foundation I've used for about 2 years (I have recently been using a cake with a wet sponge) and in saying that it is taking me a while to get to the swing of things but I am :)

Lastly.... Accessories!

I did purchase some hosiery from another supplier and realised what a HUGE mistake it was to buy something you don't know. They laddered and ripped as SOON as I pulled them over my foot.

So back to Glassons I went and got 2 for $9.99 - plain black with feet TALL and AVE. I am only 5'2 but the Tall ones are REALLY super comfortable and great for the extra cold winter mornings.  :) (the others I bought were $12.99 EACH! footless)

The bag I got from Target :) - I'd seen these in another shop in Town Hall and they were over $30... This one was... $15! Redic - I KNOW! Love it!!

Hairbands and clips came with a set of earrings - not pictured.. sorry :( - for $10 from Lavisa.

Top 8 Things I'm Missing About Home ♡

1. Mum - Living away from my beautiful mother has, by far, been one of the hardest things I've had to come to get use too. I miss her face, playing with her/tackling her and throwing her around!

2. Stella Rose! - I miss EVERYTHING about this cute little munchkin!

3. My Jonsy! - I miss her hilariousness and stupidity, her raging self and partying ways.

4. Jordan/Boo Boo/Missy Moo! - And her Mama! The smile this little angel has, has lightened my life since she popped into this world. This I miss the most on Sundays :(

5. Triple 1 Five Restaurant - And their Creamy Chicken and Cranberry Linguini! Mmmmmm

6. LOL yes believe it or not ----  Eke Taone! The City ride - There is no way I could get my wee self to the city and back again for $3 a day here!

7. The Redwoods - There aren't exactly easy, beautiful places to stroll across the road to in Sydney. 

8. My Nail Polish' - These were donated to the lovely Jonsy and have been used and looked after. I'm making a new collection, but haven't really been making any cool patterns :)

I miss a lot of things about home, and infact had originally had thought about doing a 'Top 10' list. Then thought, there aren't actually 10 things I miss at all about home....

And infact all in all I'm having a great time in Sydney!

New Ombre - Update ♡

It's been a month!

One whole month has past since I arrived to Sydney, Australia. 

I've found and kept a brand new job and made a couple friends. I've spent a lot of time with my family, Dad, Anna and the kids and have had a great time.

Last week I re-dyed my ombre hair to make the end blonder and healthier.

You'll see in my June Haul- posted in a couple weeks time, I got a toning blonde shampoo. I'm thinking this has helped, but at the same time I've only used it 3 times :)

At work we have a "Playtime" once a month, the past wek we had a 'Mad Hatters Tea Party'. I made THE COOLEST hat and the kids loved it... even if the kids that did turn up were all my relations ;)

....

Dad asked me last week,

"Is there anything you thought you'd be doing or anything in your first month that you haven't?"

My reply...

"No."

I came here with no expectations and I've so far lived a happy Sydney life.
I've had the pleasure or seeing my best girl, Elle. And I've still kept in touch with my other best girl, Jonsy. My mum and my sisters.

Life is good, life is great. I am still breathing and I love that!

Late night blogs...

So my stepmom and I went to this beautiful heaven called IKEA tonight and 1. I love it a lot! And 2. Oh yeah I love it even more!!!! I got some things for my room and practically made my whole house, in my head, in the space of 1 hour! -this place is 3kms AROUND!!! Anywhoooooo afterwards we came home, MADE one of the things Anna brought and had a few wines.... Then I was the smart one who thought itd be a great idea to redye my hair :) So far so good....
