I made it and I'm safe!

Hey Everyone!

The last couple of days have been intense to say at the least!

I have arrived in Sydney, after being seen off by my entire - minus a few- family in AKL. 

We had a drink at a bar in the airport and whilst there also had a small encounter with the police. Not our fault of course but if you do go to the "Down Under" bar in the international departures lounge in Auckland, DO NOT- I repeat - DO NOT take an Id that could be slightly faded!

Annnnnyyywwwhooooo..... - enough with dodgy cops in NZ!

I am here in Sydney, have had a huge day with the other siblings of my life. 3 of which infact I will intruduce you too sometime this week. 

I am grateful for the roof over my head, the family I have, the parents that support me and the loving and talented siblings I have!

WOW.. This is surreal! It came out of nowhere!

Watched Stella (little sister) play netball today. Her team is full of year 4 children, super cute.
   So excited to get on the court and play. Stella is absolutely gorgeous! She loves netball and tries SO hard to get in the game and do her BEST!  They had an incredible game and only lost 3-2! So proud of her!!

Then my family and I went to subway got some lunch - Always delish!!

Got some dvds, great old school dvds! 

"Witches" - A Roald Dahl classic story

"Matilda" - Another Roald Dahl classic

and "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"

So tonight my sisters and I will be pigging out and watching old movies till we fall fast asleep! 

Then UP early to drive to Auckland! Ahhhhh super scary guys!!! 

Packed! ✓

Passport! ✓

My Special Day ❤

Today was a great day!!!

First I had lunch with Gemma and Jordyn, my baby. Again she is the most adorable little angel!!! They gave me the most gorgeous, precious present! One of the nicest people I have ever met...

Then Magaritas with Mama! So lovely at this cute place in Rotorua called "The Mexican" highly recommend! It's the cutest little place, they have ornaments all over the walls and crosses and sombreros  all over the place!

Finally to end the day off with dinner with my big sis Trina. We're not blood sisters but she has always been there through a lot of drama and baggage - she's been the one who stuck :)
We went to Lonestar where we use to go a lot! Delish!!!!!!

Anyway such a huge day, I am totally shattered and drained from these crazy emotions- good and bad!

Do You Believe Magic??? ❤

Do you believe in the magic surrounding you? 

Remember for just a moment, when you believed that the tooth fairy was real.
     When you woke up in the morning with that tooth under your pillow, the feeling that a tiny little fairy snuck under your pillow when you were sound asleep and replaced it with money.

When you woke up on christmas day, knowing the only way your stocking could possibly be full was because Santa came down your chimney and gave you loads of amazing gifts.

Don't think about the responsibilities you have today, the jobs and chores you need done, the money you need to have in you account and the weight you need to lose.   For one moment today, think about magic.

   About the magic that's in your life, whether it be in your marriage, your kids, your family...

Your Heart!

Be thankful for the magic. Be grateful for what the magic brings into your life. Be a kid, for 1 moment. And try hold that feeling for the day :)

The I Am Project

ANZAC ❤ Review ❤ Gemma, Mes & Jordyn

Today is ANZAC day!
Least we forget' all the brave and strong soldiers of NZ and Australia.

I don't personally know or have ever known anyone that fought in a war but that doesn't say that I don't care and thank them for what they did for us.
I do however, know of a few people who have been to Gallipoli and it is a place I'd love to visit sometime in my lifetime.

Did you go to the dawn service?


I didn't go this year, but I have been to a few and I would highly recommend it. It's a fabulous experience and I shed a tear each time I've gone.

The last few days and days to come are about to get very busy! 

Last night I went to my friends house, Gemma. I've probably only known her maybe 2 years all up. She is one of the kindest people I know.   Her husband, Mes, and her both attend Destiny Church and they have a beautiful baby girl, Jordyn. Jordyn is 6 months old and totally gorgeous!!

 I love her SO much and would do anything for her! 

And she knows it ;)

Gem and Mes have been married for 3 years and I adore their marriage! They are so happy and inlove and share so many things in common and the things they don't have in common make it an even more amazing relationship to watch.   I would give a lot to have what she has.

So last night I took a bracelet around for Jordyn that I had engraved with..

"Grow strong, Have faith, Be beautiful"

I want her to remember me when I'm gone so I'm hoping, and praying this will do the trick :)

Tonight we are going to Gemma's for dinner to have Mes' mussells.  I absolutely LOVE seafood and VERY much look forward to this massive feast! I will post a picture for you later.



Gemma also bought the "Maybelline Pulse Perfection" mascara, which is the mascara by Maybelline. She tested it last night and the difference was incredible so tonight I will take some photos and do a blog based on my FIRST real review :)

 Enjoy you ANZAC day off work and school and I will see you tonight.

The I Am Project

Buds ❤

I've come to realise, now that I'm leaving. Who my true friends are and who aren't. 

You come to realise, who you think will miss you, won't. And who you don't expect at all to miss you  Will. 

My mum has always said, your true friends are the ones you can count on one hand. The ones that have been there, through it all. To help you. To love you and to be there and not judge you and your decisions. 

I can count on less the one hand my TRUE friends and I am undoubtedly grateful for each and every one of them... I thought I felt sad, and alone knowing what people felt. But instead I found myself actually being quite thankful for what I've had and what I've got.

I've been away, now I'm back!!!

Before & After ❤ Chit Chat ❤ Tattoo

So as many of you know...

I leave in 6 days! What the F^&K?! 

And since my very kind friend Elle, you've all met this one before, has pressured me into start writing again... I am doing a before and after AND chit chat blog for ya'll :)

In the last weekend, very sloppy weekend. I got very intoxicated! Thursday I got a new tattoo!!!

It says "I move the stars for no-one" in Italian. Yes it did hurt and yes I LOVE IT!

 I went out with Lucie, Jonsy and Kalya on Thurs night. 

It got rough. Very rough. I was sick, very sick! Sent some txts I regretted sending, drunk too much - I regretted drinking - but hey! It was my last weekend. 

Saturday my amazing mother, you've also met her :) Arranged, with the help of my Jonsy, a surprise leaving party for me! She did SO well and it was a lot of fun. My adorable cousin Lauren came down and we danced and drank all night. 

So as you can imagine, yesterday was VERY quiet. Lauren managed to get me out of the house for a lovely lunch at Ambrosia in town - by the lake - followed by a small catch up with a friend then back home to die in bed.

Today I have done absolutley nothing, I spoke to Elle on skype and she gave me a few chores. 

1. Wash my hair - VERY dirty

2. Do my washing

and lastly 3. Write a blog.

Job 1 is complete and comes with a before and after pic ....

Step 2 - doesn't cos that would be stupid ;)

and Voila! Step 3 done!
